Board of Commissioners (Special) - Feb 4, 2026
The county's building rules mostly date to 1991-1993. This update aligns them with the state's 2021 consolidated statute, formalizes inspection and unsafe-structure procedures, and would let the existing Board of Adjustment hear housing appeals instead of commissioners. Commissioners are still deciding how much appeal authority to keep for themselves.
